Dear Valiant Defenders,
Today marks a heavy day in my heart. I have decided to retire from my position as Prime Minister. I have recommended Alex Koeppel as your new Prime Minister and Director of Membership and Operations. The rest of the High Command has agreed, and Alex has now taken the position.
This letter does not mean I will be resigning my membership from the VDP. VDP membership is for a lifetime, even if only in name. I have opted to stay as an adviser from here on out.
My reasons for retiring are clear. The VDP is primarily for students and by the students. My college education is virtually finished, meaning my days of being a student is over. I still contribute as an alumni, but my days of full particpation and benefit are over. The position of Prime Minister is even more so connected to the membership-at-large, and as an alumni, I cannot connect with the student membership as I could have once.
We did so many things. Let me remind you of our influence on legislation as a group in preventing homeschooling from being stifled by authorities here in Ohio. We have gotten endorsements from organizations for conservative politicians that were against the leviathan Common Core. Most of all, I think our greatest accomplishment was the time we all got together to minister to the Tittle family in Arkansas when the tornadoes hit. Some of the best things I have ever been part of was because of the VDP.
I have been your chaplain, your consultant, your counselor, your confidant. I have been with the Party since it's very founding. You all are like brothers and sisters and family to me. I've prayed with and for each of you. I tracked your progress.
I know you will take the Society to new heights. Remember our mission verse:
I Chronicles 19:13
Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight.
We are VDP. May you go forth for His glory.
Former Prime Minister
